Im using a9lh it automatically boots to reinand. But how can i boot to my sysnand?

Hold Start while powering on the 3DS.

Hi evry1 :)
So i successfully got my OTP.bin
What do I have to do now to get my ReiNAND emuNAND to coldboot?
I guess i have to install Al9Hax beforehand using this Guide? (is there a more easy way to do this?)
And then simply 'overwrite' my old reinand files with the Al9 ReiNAND stuff?
Thanks in advance :)

After installing a9lh all you need to do is add the "arm9loaderhax.bin" from the github to the root of your SD.

Worked great. Thank you. If I have no arm9 payload, would I get errors? ( I am asking this out of pure curiousity )

@Reisyukaku

You know I am a big fan of your work and was wondering if you would consider introducing a couple of features

(I am fully aware of the mod of your work, not interested in all the GBA stuff)

Would you consider adding in (possibly v 3.4) a 9.0 or 9.2 firmware for sysNAND (hitting start on power on or boot) instead of the dirty version that uses the 10.4 firm ?

Also firm protection if we wanted to swap our nands around ?

Thank you in advance

I was thinking of a way to introduce different firmwares, i think i have a nice idea, so more on that soonish. Also i dont really have time to RE AM service for disabling firm install, so unless someone else has done it, idk

Thanks Rei, this would be amazing, as i have said many times, I like the original concept of ReiNand which was to be a simple and streamlined CFW

I don't want 3 updates a day like the other mod version, I want the original real thing with just the added option to boot into a patched 9.0 fw sysNAND via a button press

I hope this becomes a reality and thank you for replying to the request :)

so I can't boot into system nand holding start because menuhax is still setup on my sysnand! lol- is there a way to delete menuhax by deleting a folder/s on the micro sd card?

yes mate, just delete the menuhax ropbin and on sysnand change your theme

also you could delete it in the menuhax manager

I'm a little confused.. where can I find he manuhax ropbin?

I know the easy way would be to change the theme but I have no access to system nand anymore with a9lh :P

it will be on the route of your sd card

no good - I only have hbloader other app payload on the root of my sd card (of course I has arm9loaderhax, launcher.dat, ntr.bin and reinand.dat)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

just an update: after I had a9lh setup I cleaned up my micro sd card and deleted those files Peter. then when snes vc was released I decided to get a few gba games again so I could have the entire Zelda series, Mario series, etc.

booting into sys nand caused the tv static mode to come up which caused menuhax to freak out since the needed files were gone off the sd card (assumption).

then I recalled I used to hold L to bypass menu hax. so I hold start, powered on, held L then boom - sysnand! lol then changed the theme and all is well!

I'd run menuhax_manager in sysnand now and select the delete option to completely get rid of it.

oh ok, ill do that. now I'm having trouble figuring out how to get a title manager on sysnand. I can't use gateway because it reboots the system (even if I hold start on reboot I'm assuming a9lh clears gw mode).
