Hardware sounds like a hardware issue... but...

Hello all... This sounds like a hardware issue not a brick... but just wanted to be sure,

The wii have no video or sound... starts up to a blue screen on the TV (no signal) I wii does however boot up. I know it gets to the menu since I can feel the wiimote rumble as is goes over each channel on the sys menu... tried all the usual... swapped power/video cords... checked the drive wires... blah blah...

sure many have seen this before, and sounds like hardware problem, but thought I'd ask (before last rights) since we have many bright people out there...

if you can turn the wii on with the wiimote it sounds like the GPU has went bad

or cable? or display connector.

not the cables or tv... maybe the gpu, are there any fixes? I was thinking fuse or something to check/fix on the mother board
