Hacking Soundhax still works when updating from a cart

3DS type: Old 3DS ambassador version
FW before: 3.x.x (forgot the rest)
FW after cart update: 10.3.0.6U
Cart used: Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright
Otherapp payload used: 10.3.0.7U(6 is not on the choices).

So I had this Old 3DS I've been keeping from CFW(I had another one for my CFW needs).

I went to 3ds.guide to update my CFW(menuhax to a9lh) and saw the paragraph that cart updates from <7.x.x breaks soundhax(see attached file).

Decided to try it on my cart updated 3ds and it somehow worked.

Did I misunderstood the guide?

I have yet to switch from menuhax to A9LH on my hacked 3DS. Just making sure nothing is lost in my translation.

It's possible that the 3.0 sound app has the same code offsets as the 10.3 one since not all sound app updates have code changes. Usually the people with problems have updated from 2.1.0-4 (downgrade to otp version) to 11.0.0-4 (the pokemon cart firmware). So maybe just that common version differential creates code offset issues and other combinations were just erroneously assumed to fail.

Howd you do it???!! because my 3ds is 10.3.0-4 and it dosont work for me .can i get an explination on how to make it work on my firmware
