Homebrew Soul Silver help?

So, I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but can anyone help me with Soul Silver. I can't play it on my DSTT cause I keep getting save file corruption. Please, I am very new, I've searched Google and I've searched the forums but I can't find a way

1) format with the panasonic sd formatter (guide here). NOTE: make sure you back everything up to your computer before formatting.

2) Use RetroGameFan's YSmenu for maximum compatibility on your dstt.

3) get yourself clean (unpatched) roms before trying patched ones.

Try another version of the Rom or try to patch it

I've tried different versions of the rom but it doesn't work. And I can't seem to find a patch to correct my problems..

My friend stays that his Soul Silver works (he has DSTT)
Probably he wasn't patching it at all, probably he had to patch or get patched Black/White
However You can try to find some patched ROM, maybe Soul Silver has some anti-piracy stuff implemented (hell I wouldn't be surprised)

s4mid4re - YS Menu works for DSTT? Oh that would help my friend with loading speed I guess

Friend also stays that he has some unofficial soft to DSTT, not sure which one, I think there was some "Unofficial Kernel" or something

Just use retrogamefan's YSMenu kernel.

This is one of the problems on R4 and DSTT cards. The save file gets corrupted.
Make sure your firmware is up to date. Find a new ROM it help in most cases (ie from another site ).

Or use this. When was using r4, i use RGF firmware and my save files never got corrupted.
