what about the ROM/MEDIA/Homebrew backup? doest it auto-patchs DLDI for homebrew? does it auto-detects the save type for each game? does it have cheat functions included?

I don't think you'll be disappointed. I have two CycloDS Evolutions in my home and no problems. Supports download play and the larger cards.

Interesting after you talked to the reveiwer of all three that you picked the CycloDS and he rated lower than the other two?!?! I always thought that review was a bum deal!!!

It does auto-DLDI patch and detects the save types. I don't think it has cheat support yet.

One thing that I'm not sure if he mentioned in the video, is that the Acekard is the first flashcart to release the source to its firmware, so third parties can make modified versions.

It works with any DLDI-compatible applications (which is almost all recent homebrew).

you know, those reviews are really old, they should be updates...

don't you think G6 is better than CycloDS? i mean, who really need that pdaDS features?, plus they can be included maybe, in a later firmware upgrade by the cyclops team
and the G6 internal memory is either good and bad, bad, because if the nand memory bricks, ill need to buy a whole new cart, and good because its faster(not that it causes lag ingame to use microSd cards in CycloDS/R4)..

as for the advantadges vs. R4, it isnt spring loaded, that means, the card wont get stuck, NEVER, and as better features, plus supports DSHC, wich r4 cant upgrade within firmware

So I think that for now, CycloDS and AceKard are my pickups, i need more information about Acekard so i can make my decision...

The new R4 casing is no longer spring-loaded.

for example, in the R4 Review says that it Failed to load most part of the homebrew out untill now, but with the firmware upgrades, athey added DLDI autopatching support, wich makes most part of the homebrew playable...


IYO, between AceKard and CycloDS, wich is better and Why?

I would choose Cyclods at the moment, acekard looks....i don't know, iffy ? im not sure download play works well for the acekard

Thanks to everybody who helped me choose the product to buy, you cant still comment on other products so i might change my mind, dunno how the DS Slot-1 combo scene is evolving until Christmas :\
