How can I make Nintendo Wii U port of Sonic Generations? I don't think Unreal Engine 4 is supporting Wii U games anymore. Anyway what's the differences of making Wii U or Nintendo Switch roms and real hardware unofficial homebrew games?
I say it simply not possible at this pointI guess will it be more simple to make replica for PC,iOS and Android on Unreal Engine 4 or 5,right than porting for any modern Nintendo game console?
So where exactly should I port it? Any recommendations?I say it simply not possible at this point
Oh okay? I was thinking about Sonic Generations being based on Sonic Satam season 1 episode blast from the past. Sega and Sonic Team never used that idea in Sonic Generations or any official Sonic games canon format.Bringing back Freedom Fighters. If you mean that you could make a bootleg, then I guess you could, but you just can't port it anywhere
And at this point, you'd better make your own game than just making a worse Sonic Generations, which is already available on PC
Oh okay. Well someone else insisted unofficial Nintendo Wii U port not me. Speaking of homebrew roms. I didn't start this thread anyway. It should be related to Nintendo Switch games not Nintendo Wii U games.Unless you're capable of doing the ports yourself stop with these threads. You want a game that's on a certain console buy that console period.
It's literally impossible unless you and a team of people spend years reverse engineering the game.
Well I would rather just make completely new game content. Some sort of scratch. Like slightly different meaning of Sonic Generations. Fanmade unofficial reboot/remake of Sonic Generations. That Sega and Sonic Team never considered before. Anyway it's 10th anniversary of Sonic Generations of pc Steam,PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS. I guess porting any homebrew game to any game console is too difficult to me. People on Sonic Retro forum won't help me with modding Sonic Generations pc version. I made even thread about that, but nobody responded here anyway. Oops my bad I started this thread. I confused you guys and myself with this thread.simply put, are you sure you want to decompile power pc code and then recompile and adjust that for nvidia cpu code? Plus even if you could, how are you going to implement alot of things, it just isn't feasible. Even then emulation isn't as easy as you might think. i doubt the switch could even run a wii u game well with fully unlocked regulators and higher clock tables, it just aint happening
