Gaming Sonic chronicles lagging a bit

First i want to introduce myself haha

Hi everyone im new here and i made this acount since i had this problem with sonic chronicles

I just downloaded sonic chronicles and first i found a problem with not being able to make a save file. i fixed that

So ive been playing so far and i just love the game

but it lags so often. I know its not normal since ive seen tons of gameplay footages. but why and is there a solution to this

My theorie was that this may not be the final version of the game or maybe its just my card

When it lags for me, it's when I change directions while running, and I'm pretty sure that it's just due to crappy transitions. I got used to it pretty fast, though/

does it also lag in cutscenes? cuz mine does

The game just has a terrible engine. This happens to everyone unless maybe you have a fast microsd card. Just deal with it.

I'm using a Supercard DS-ONE with the latest firmware. It may be my flashcard, but it does indeed seem pretty choppy and such. I don't know if this happens on a real cartridge.

At any rate, the game is still fun and playable!

The game really isn't good, the engine is choppy and glitchy, theres no real "depth" to the gameplay, and it just feels unfinished.

1. BioWare is a n00b when it comes to DS, if they took some more time, the game would be a lot better.
2. Most of the time, the studio, touches up the trailer.
3. Various reviews stated that the engine has lag, and the sound and videos are way too compressed.

i just cant stand the lag and i really hoped that it would e the rom instead of the real game

everyone here says bad developing but ill continue my search for other answers

I really hate it when reviews are so split like this if I don't know if the game is good or not. Kirby Super Star Ultra did this as well:

But then, almost all the fans love this one (I know I do). So like I said, a matter of perspective. If you love it, it shouldn't matter what others think.
