Nice, this looks great.

I kinda liked the sprite-based approach of the first one but this looks great as well!

And this one looks kinda like Sonic 2, in contrary to the first one, which reminded me of Sonic 1 somehow.

Maybe they`ll do it like this: S4:E1=S1 / S4:E2=S2 / S4:E3=S3; so that Episode 3 would be kinda similar to Sonic 3. So in the end Sonic 4 could be in itself a modernized trilogy, like Sonic 1-3K were :P

Hopefully this time it'll play like the older Sonics rather than Sonic Rush. I did like Episode 1 but I was expecting something more akin to the older games.

Now that's more like it. But let's see if the gameplay holds up in a gameplay video.

Also, I wonder what physics engine it runs on? I'm hoping that they may have something based on the Sonic Generations engine at least, that already had an equippable homing attack for Classic Sonic.

looks like a Sonic game should... no 3D bullshit
hope the physics gets fixed for this episode

Colors was fantastic though, it should be what all 3D sonic games strive to be now. I can't make a judgement of Sonic Generations on any console as I've only played it on the 3DS (which is a pretty great modern 2.5D sonic game), but I believe it plays similar to Colors in the 3D stages.

Must say, if they never released another Sonic game I'd barely notice. I still try the new ones, but they are just so average...

I liked episode 1 so 2 will be just as good if even better

This game is a perfect example of a Sonic game created with respect, dignity, and near perfection to the Genesis games.

sonic 4 episode 1 was a remake of 2, and from the looks of the screensahots (ice cap zone) this will have stages remixed from sonic 3.

Are the holes always straight down or do they do some ergonomic grippy stuff, or does that risk snapping off your finger?

they just straight down, you can use some special powder for better grip if you want

There is a Disney movie I loved back when I was a kid called ally cat strike still pretty good

That idea always freaked me out, that if you don't let go of the ball at exactly the right point it would break your fingers. Then I found out the holes are wider than that. Lemme tell you, that was a relief.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I bowl with a finger tip ball, so thumb goes all the way in, but two top holes only finger tips go in, gives you more spin/ action.

They are now saying the shooter had bullet-deflecting ceramic plates hanging on the fence. Hey @salazarcosplay
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Talk about fancy plates.

My ceramic plates can't deflect a baby carrot.

    @BigOnYa

With the PS3. I saw some games taken down from my usual site I go to .

I tried other sites. Some ISO's were encrypted.

So it was a bit of having to figure out how to decrypt them, as well as transfer them.

Previously I only transferred JB folders.

I transferred the ISO's from an NTFS drive on IRISHMAN.

Irishman seems great since it can launch NTFS games from USB on the PS3.
