Hacking Something wrong with my DS speakers

Hi, .... For some reason, my ds speakers doesn´t work. The headphones work perfect. Any idea of what´s the problem?

sounds like a disconnection issue. The wire that goes to the speaker may have fallen loose or something

It could be a damaged/shorted switch in the headphone jack making the DS think the headphones are always plugged in.

i plugged and unplugged the headphones several times, and the speakers are working now
