Go to the DNS settings on the WiiU console itself and put the TubeHax DNS on the primary and secondary DNS. Test by loading eShop. If you get a connection error, then it works.
Tubehax DNS is used to ALLOW eshop access.
what it will block is updates, not eshop.
trying to access eshop is not the correct way to check if DNS is working. You should access youtube.com instead. if it whitescreen, then it works.
you cant have it all
Yes you can.
I do, I can play online with retail games, access eshop on 5.3.2 (nnu patcher), access miiverse, and use loadiine, and use netflix.
I'm blocking from proxy, and DNS. (Attention, tubehax DNS will NOT work if you have both proxy and DNS in the wiiU settings !)
@mediavieja :
Did you used proxy setting at the same time than DNS ?
because using proxy prevent the use of the DNS server. it would allow the connection to the server with the typo in the router.
If you want to use DNS with proxy, you need to set the dns on your proxy's server.
if you use CCProxy, there's a field to enter the DNS IP in the filtering page.
Also, i you use proxy, it will defeat the purpose of MAC IP filtering.
If you didn't use proxy, then I don't know why the tubehax DNS failed.
sorry for you.
