-What if I use illegitimate DLC on a retail disc game without launching Mocha/CFW?

-I want to install a bakcup of one of my games. Will that backup use the retail disc savegame?

1) if you don't launch mocha/cfw to load the dlc you will get a mess2sahing something like this dlc can't be used on this console.

2.yes your save will work with the backup as long as the save us in the same location as the game. So if you put the game on nand the save has to be on nand and I'd you put the game on usb the save needs to be on usb also

No, the corrupt DLC message will appear when you try to launch the game, and the game won't start until you've corrected the problem, either by loading your signature patching solution or deleting the DLC from Data Management.
