No offense but I'd rather just use the money and buy a flash cart that does get updated instead of donating to a guy who will crack a game once xd

I was just wondering if you make the ROM work on R4, will it work on DSTT? Or will it make it easier to find a DSTT fix?

It already works on M3 Real.
And M3 Simply technically isn't a clone... While they are the same card, they were also manufactured by the same people and just branded differently with different, card-locked firmware by a second company.
