Hey everyone who may know of and enjoyed this DS game in the past. It may seem like a boring card game to some, but it entertained me so much, and even today I like to go back to it every now n then to play some of the story mode. I've recently gotten more into the multiplayer side of the game as I hadn't seen any recordings or mentions about it elsewhere. Furthermore, Ik that there is very little cheat codes for the game, and understandably so ig, doesn't seem like theres much to do. I feel however, since there is an entire card collection in which shows the "playable characters" (goku, gohan, vegeta, piccolo), on top of just about every other enemy/support character you can encounter for a battle, and there's also overworld sprites that exist for most if not all of them as well, that with more digging, it might be possible to switch playable characters either in the storymode or multiplayer to play as one of those enemies. The only issue, I am unfortunately no good at game hacking at the level of looking into RAM and so on, which is why im coming here. Am hoping to eventually find someone with better experience in the field that would be willing to help me find out if this is possible or not. If anyone is willing to analyze the game and fill me in on details that would be amazing, Am willing to give a commission for the help if its wanted

Hi everyone! I’ve always felt that the Nintendo DS is criminally underrated when it comes to being a dedicated manga reader. Think about it: it has two screens built right into the form factor, a precise touchscreen, and when you rotate the console 90 degrees counter-clockwise, it perfectly mimics the ergonomics of holding a real physical tankobon (manga volume). When held vertically, the D-pad sits perfectly on the bottom, and the shoulder keys (L/R) are in the ideal position for switching chapters. Plus, the touchscreen can be used as a dynamic radar magnifier for reading small text or inspecting details. Such interactions offer a form factor that modern smartphones just can't match. To prove this, I built ds_mangaman — an open-source, hardware-accelerated 3x Ultra-HD comic book reader for the NDS/NDSL. New Features & Major Update We have completely overhauled the asset preprocessing pipeline to make building your custom manga ROMs incredibly simple. You no longer need to manually configure Python, pip, or global environment variables via the command line! Standalone Desktop GUI Tool: The project now includes a pre-compiled main_gui.exe desktop interface. You can manage your chapters, refresh your library, and compile everything through a clean graphical layout. Automated Toolchain Setup: The application now actively scans your local environment footprints. If the required devkitPro compilation toolchain is missing, the application will automatically pop up a guided dialog to configure and stitch the ecosystem together behind the scenes. Automated Closed-Loop Packaging: The builder silently handles NumPy-accelerated image rotation, downscaling, hardware-native 16-bit RGB555 transcoding, and NitroFS filesystem structuring with a single click. How to Use Toolchain Setup: Run main_gui.exe. If you don't have devkitPro, let the app guide you through the setup (make sure to keep the mandatory default installation path: C:\devkitPro). Import Assets: Click Import in the GUI to open assets/jpg_comic/. Create subfolders named with 4-digit integers for your chapters (e.g., 0010 for Chapter 1) and drop your sequential images (.jpg, .png, .webp) inside. Generate ROM: Hit Refresh in the GUI to view your chapters, select the ones you want to package, and click Gen ROM. Your finished .nds file will be generated instantly in the build/ folder, ready for your flashcard or emulator! Note: The underlying GNU make toolchain cannot handle directory paths containing spaces. Ensure your root project folder is placed in a clean directory path like C:\ds_mangaman\ or D:\ds_mangaman\. Hacking Some help with NDS station

I'm using EZ5 3 in 1 and was wondering if I should only have 1 GBA game thats NDS? Or can I put more then 1 and switch between every now and then like Fire Emblem 7 and 6. If so, how does that work?

only 1 game can be wrapped per .nds creation with NDStation.

So you have to do everygame one at a time with NDStation to create a .nds file.
ie:
Fire Emblem 6.nds
Fire Emblem 7.nds
GTA.nds... and so on...

Then just drop them in a folder and enjoy to your hearts content

yes, you'll have to make or wait for a solution in order to batch NDStationize.

You can keep as many .NDS files on your card as you can fit at a time. The only hitch is if you don't have enough space on your card to decompress the .gba files it ruins your card. That issue is fixed in the upcoming 1.3. Also, 1.3 will have batch conversion.
