In HBC i have MMM, IOSS236 installer, some box with yellow/red fire writing (no idea what it says)

in system menu click on the sd card icon, it should launch the hackmii installer. press yes to run boot.dol/boot.elf

Hi, done all steps now and got homebrew working.

Now what hahahaha! Does that mean i am softmodded?

Now, can i burn an wii iso to a blank dvd and simply insert and play?

run a syscheck and post the resulting .csv file off your sd card, someone can verify that you have all the right ios'es installed

now doing a file clean up and will do a re-scan and tell you if any changes occur

If its a newer Wii console, it has the D2-3 chipset, and will never load backup discs, on the other hand, get a external USB drive, and games will play off of that using a USB loader (configurable USB loader, Wiiflow, USB loader GX, etc...)

Wii is about 2-4 years old. According to some 'drive' check i did yesterday with the serial, it should be fine.

Do i need anything else?

The question now is how do i test if my softmod works, how do i play a wii baced up dvd that i have got the iso image to?

, i am guessing i must keep my sd card in the wii at all times now?

and i disabled auto/game updates so i can connect my wifi now cant i to use the channels like weather etc?
