Hacking softmod 4.3E Virgin with chipdrive without SD

I have here a 4.3E virgin wii with a chipdrive.
SD cardreader is broken.
Is there any posibilty to softmod this wii ?
I have read about homebrewchannel 0.8 loadable from dvd drive ?

You can't mod a 4.3 console without an SD card. Game exploits are the only way to hack 4.3, and they require an SD card.

The HBC install disc is obsolete. It's completely useless on all wiis running 3.3 or newer.

Get the SD reader fixed, then softmod it.

I can fix your SD card slot if you want. I've got a brand new replacement here. I'd sell it to you if you have the required soldering skills, but otherwise I can replace the SD card slot for you and get you wii modded.
