Hacking SoftChip Backup Loader

The cios used for SoftChip is exactly the same as the one for WiiGator's 0.3b loader. All information needed to get it working is in threads about the 0.3 loader.

Video patch is in svn. I can't confirm whether it works or not, my Wii and all my games are NTSC-U, all I can say is it doesn't break anything on my wii.

Cant get the dol to boot black screen and wii remote turns off every time.Last version took 4 or 5 tries to boot.

Can confirm video fix working on pal wii just takes me a few gos to get the dol to boot any1 else get this problem have installed 0.3b cios and wanikokos but still the same result.

Ok I downloaded the softchip dol for the usa modification that was posted. What I need to know is this, assuming my cios is correct, do I just make a folder in /apps and call it whatever I please, so something like /apps/Softchip/boot.dol? If so do I need the xml files and image or are these just superflous files that are optional?

The PAL/NTSC precompiled versions have been superceeded by r11 in svn.

Actually one last thing. The PAL one works mostly as people have stated, so my question is that if I use Any Region Changer to change my region from NTSC to PAL, will the PAL Softchip work as is and I don't need the USA modified one?

lol @ requiem4d. So if that is the case, has someone got a compiled dol, that is revision11 or r11 as requiem has stated?

I presume this is fixed and working and works for both PAL and USA machines or will it only load your regions games?
