GBAFail did something similar. He lied about having a bricked 3DS to "prove" that A9LH will brick your 3DS.

Some people genuinely like Menuhax and I personally don't like when people are hated upon because they don't have the latest and greatest.

Of course. That was the argument I made to him. I makes no sense to pick poll number 3 and say those are actual factual results when what? 100 people took the poll out of the HUNDREDS and possibly thousands of people that have gotten a9lh.

Ah I see. I just see people calling Menuhax users peasants for no reason when they ask a question and it annoys me tbh. Lying is wrong I'll admit. I wouldn't show off my a9lh status, but I wouldn't complain if someone else did. Spreading misinformation is so annoying and can lead to do much crap later on.

I guess to add on. If they say they're lazy, but don't say anything else, I can't complain. I understand and they've said nothing wrong in terms of misinformation and the lot.

If they ask for help with boot rates and you post "You should install A9LH" that's totally fine.
If the OP gets angry at a user for posting facts that's their problem.

Well telling them to switch to a9lh isn't really helpful as it doesn't fix the current issue(yes I know it gets rid of the issue but not the same thing) and people get sick of seeing it. Offering them actual help with the issue and then being like you could do this and not have to worry about "insert issue" again is ok.

Whatever the reason for someone using a solution to their 3DS needs why bother taking a jab at them for it? You use what you're comfortable with and that'll be that, nobody has the right to shit on your decision.

for me 33.33%of all my a9lh installs has resulted in a brick, but i have only installed a9lh 3 times and the 1 brick was actually because i was tired doing it and in an attempt to be lazy and skip steps i used GW to install the cia installer and forgot i was in GW mode when downgrading.....sooooooo yeah i did something dumb and got bricked, luckily i unbricked it in 30 mins and learned not to be lazy next time as it ended up taking longer anyway

honestly though as the goto guy for unbricking EU users systems i can pretty much guarantee that the brick rate is nowhere near 30% or i would be a very busy guy

Shit that will cause a brick not matter what ur doing it for. So I wouldn't even say that's a a9lh only issue lol. glad u got it fixed.

yeah i know that was me being lazy, as long as people don't try improvising or cutting corners they will be fine, pretty much every brick i have fixed has been someone trying to cut corners and skip a step or someone messing up and grabbing the wrong updates files stuff like that is pretty much the only reason people end up bricked except for the very very small group of people who genuinely had the system crash mid update/downgrade (although even in those cases most of the time it can be fixed using recovery mode)

The last one I did I cut so many corners lol(knew what I was doing). Used a second sd card so I didn't have to backup emunand or the sd card. Never made a sysnand backup(had an old one). It cut a lot of time out but people should still follow the guide unless they know what they are doing.
