Gaming Soft pouch or Crystal Case?

I know they're two different things but there's a DSlite package i'm going to buy tommorow, the option is with soft pouch or crystal case...what's better? im sorry, i really don't know a lot of DS

A crystal case is what I have for my XL. It is basically a covering case for you system. Just put it on and it prevents scratches. On the other hand the soft pouch is more like a carrying case. It prevents scratches while the system is inside and it also prevents dust but once you take it out I don't really see the point in its use.

Well, if you get the crystal case, most likely your DS won't fit in the pouch. The pouches are usually a tight fit without the case.
