Hardware so stuck guys got a weird combo and problem

ok ill try and explane this the best i can

i have 2 wii's .
(wii A)one is a launch wii with wiikey + hd wii flow ect.
(wii B)one is a little newer and it has the drive key

(wii A) will play all my burns everything works great
(wii B) will play only some burns example it will play nsmb but it wont play smarty pants or de blob or mario party

so i switched the drives with mod chips to test and i put in new laser

so wii a has wii b drive and mod chip (drivekey) and
wii b has the drive with the wii key

now both wiis only play some games
im so stumped i thought it was just the drive key or that drive in wii b.

im starting to think it cios and ios but if so why the orginal set up wi wii a work perfect with everything and wii b sucked ?
someone please help!

if you don't have the lastest firmware for the wiikey, try switch back the wii drives and update the wiikey.

I don't know if the firmware within the drivekey is updatable, but if it is, check for an updated version!
