I am only guessing but I think the SuperCard team have other full time jobs and this is a part time endeavor because how long this has taken

Let's not forget about SnemulDS.

Because apparently everyone has.

No one has. Everyone wants to play games either without glitches, at full speed, or the ones that don't work with SnemulDS. While it's great and all, there hasn't been an update in years. And not because it works with everything.

I was referring to:

No kidding. It's not like you can play SNES on the Wii, Computer, through SNES DS (meh compatibility), or just about any other console...

And also the fact that a lot of people bitch about there not being any SNES emulation and how empty and bored they are with the entire DSTWO because there isn't any SNES emulation, despite that there's already a decent enough emulator that's been around for years. It's like these emulators don't even exist when you're trying to bash the card.

Honestly. You can do without it, and if you really can't then use another DS emulator. I'll bet once this thing is released it'll have the same compatibility as the existing ones, then we'll see another post from RedBaron about how disappointing it is or something equally as silly.

When I was studding physiology the biggest problem with people they find it hard to separate fact from emotion, you are letting your emotions make your decisions not fact, soon to me is a few days not a few weeks

You are the one crying about how you don't have something, 99% of the people on this forum understand that the DSTwo hardware was released a little early because of pressure and that the software isn't fully developed yet. We also understand that 'coming soon' does not mean 'you will have in in the next 4 hours', having looked at similar situations on other cards, 'coming soon' can easily mean a couple of weeks or longer.

There are MANY technical difficulties in writing computer software, especially game console software. You can not expect something to be finished so soon, especially if there are ANY problems with it. Supercard do not seem like the type of people to release unusable software just because customers are complaining about the software not being released yet, they are makeing sure that it is at a usable state, probably near perfect before release.

Programming (and software development in general) is a lot harder than non-programmers think it is.

For example, making Portal 2 took valve 2 years and four months, whereas a player can beat it in one night.

I really need to make a "Why programming is harder than people think it is" copy-paste, since it'll require thought put into it and multiple examples, I'll probably do it within the next few days. *leaves himself a little reminder*

Yeah the only thing more challenging than building robust software is managing the expectations of the user base.

Customers always want their software/enhancements to be delivered quickly and cheaply, but of course to be perfect and free of bugs also.

snes to me was the main selling point so im pretty hyped its coming out
and people want a snes emu that utilizes the extra ram so the games run better / smother not just play the old emus which havent been updated in ages
