My Wii has been hacked for a while. I am using 4.3 and have the Homebrew channel installed. However, I can't figure out what IOS' to use to play newer games like Epic Mickey, Donkey Kong Returns and Kirbys Yawn. I've tried so many programs but get spit back with errors (ret =-1035). My Wii is a launch version.

Can anyone help me out?

cIOS 249 rev 20 worked for me

How do I install it? I downloaded cIOS Installer (rev 20) but can't get anything to install properly. (Keep getting errors?)

Its now freezing when trying to install IOS249 (Press A to continue, B to restart) = Freeze

You need to install a trucha patched/version patched ios on your wii, then run the cios installer on that ios. Perhaps follow a guide to do this.

Can you believe I've never played any Half Life game, or the Orange box. Been meaning to, I own it, just haven't played it yet.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:

Played a little Portal way back, but didn't care for it. Should give it another go.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Oh god, Portal. I got stuck in the middle of making a portal on a wall, and trying not die in the pit. Can't remember what level it was, but this was a decade ago. It just feels too difficult.

First few levels you know what you're supposed to do, but afterwards, they don't tell you otherwise, you have to memorize everything.

Since I'm not touching fake Japan asscreed, I'll be giving a try to Valhalla. I bought it on release but never played it. X

They should've continued making Rabbids games before they fall off the earth. If Nintendo has Super Mario, then Rabbids should be their mascot for all their games. Make a lot of money.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Skelletonike, Valhalla was pretty good, slow at first but gets better as goes. Not quite as good as Origins or Odyssey tho, imo
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
The game has so many options, many pointless, but no option to change the audio settings? I like when I can put the sound to work better with a soundbar or stereo equipment, I think previous games had it? Weird

I really like origins for the world itself.
