and my friend will have one soon. How can I give him cfw, or whatever? There's that Despar del whatever, and something else... All I know is that there's some way to do it without fucking with the battery... right?

I dont know if you're very sure about what you want/need. I'm 100% ignorant of PSP but I suggest you head over to the PSP subforum and read every sticky that its got to offer...

There is no way to just give someone CFW. You need to buy/make a Pandora's Battery.

This is the easiest method that I have found!

Except you still need a battery, I hacked my battery and then used the method above on an XP computer. It worked flawlessly the first time (all of my other attempts, about six, failed to register)!
