Hacking So, does anyone want to help me pseudo-unbrick a friend's wii?

Hey, guys. I really need some help!

One of my friends updated to 3.3v2 (whatever the October 23 update is called). His wii can't load any games, and to make matters worse, after not being able to get his wii back to 3.2, we deleted the HBC as a last resort (I thought you could copy it back to the wii if you move it to an SD card). Does anyone have any advice?

The thing is, I was using this thread. The IOS downgrader wouldn't work, so my friend was all "Hey, we could try this!"

Have you installed IOS16, used WadManager IOS16 to install cIOS then use the IOS Downgrader?

Yeah. Also, now with a lack of the HBC, this might be a little hard. Might something be wrong with the disc-reader-laser thing?
