Bob Loblaw said:battlefield bad company for ps3 is around 6gb i think 5.8 or something
A lot of multiplatform games are small.
Mostly because when devs develope the 360 version and port it to PS3 (which happens to majority, as in most-of-them-majority, of multiplatform games), there's no quality increase and not likely a size increase either.
All 360 games have 5.1 or below sound source, multiplatform PS3 games the same. Exclusive PS3 games frequently have 7.1 high quality sound source.
(not like you can tell unless you've devoted a good chunk of cash setting up the sound system)
I've never read a game review where the reviewer has commented on the quality of the sound source. They just say "it fits the game alright, 8/10"
So you can think of some of the large PS3 games as "unnecessary extra data"
Even though the general public don't really care about sound
"OMG native 719P is so freaking sub-HD, my eyes are super sore" "the frame sometimes drops to 59fps, and it's extremely irritating when I want fixed 60fps"
I don't recall reading a post where someone complained about a specific next-gen game having only stereo instead of surround.
