Well, I do understand some people doesn't like the Vita but I do have to say that if you are considering getting one this games makes absolutely no sense to get.
However, if I only had a 3DS and no plans to get a Vita, I would buy this in a heart beat.

I might get it in 6 months when GAME are selling it at ~£14.99 instead of the hilarious £34.99 they want us to pay for pre-order. Others have it at ~£29.99, but still... as a port, I'd expect the game's popularity to be a little diluted, so the price should drop pretty quickly. I got SFIV 3D for £9.99 from GAME just before Xmas.

Most likely. I'll play the demo and see if I like it, but I'm most likely getting it anyways.

Pretty sure a demo was confirmed.. 2/29?

Maybe for Europe since it's Euopean release date is 3/8 while it gets released in US on 2/21. I suspect a demo for US this week if the game gets released the following week.

My perdiction was correct. MGS Snake Eater 3D demo will be out this Thursday Destuctiod
(Nintendolife also mentions that a MGS Snak Eater 3D demo will be released this week as well for the UK)

From IGN's videos of newer builds, the game still suffers from horrible framerate issues. Assuming there's nothing wrong with the videos themselves causing the framerate to drop, i really have to wonder what drugs they're on to claim the framerate has been fixed in their preview... The Japanese demo also still had framerate issues, as did builds shown at TGS and such. The game's visuals have improved a bit and now look a bit better than the PS2 version at the very least, but it still seems to run like crap, a lot choppier than the PS2 version. I'll try out the demo, but i don't intend to buy this. All the real effort still seems to have gone into the HD versions on PS3 and Vita, and you get more games with those. >_>

I'd love to be proven wrong. Though even if it now runs fine, the Vita version would end up being the better deal due to the multiple games it comes packed with. You know, IF you have to have a portable version.

I will wait until it has been out to hear what others think of it before I decide anything.
Why trust other people? Play the demo in a few days

If the demo is based on an older version of the game, then it won't show if improvements were done. That's why I'm waiting for the retail to hit and others to try it to see if it had improved. People will get it regardless, and I'm on the fence about it.

IMO the demo should be the same watered down version. The Japanese eShop has that one if I'm not wrong.

Watered down?
Explain the differences please :)

I assume it means there is no blood effects or less of them because demos can be downloaded by anyone as apposed to the game not being sold to anyone underage.
