Same here. Not really a fan of the MGS series but I saw one post that says its graphics would be on par with the PS2 so I'm willing to try the demo, if it is not up to my expectations, I'll pass.
I honestly say, if you don't have an hd system or have ever played it buy it NAO! Poeple keep saying some bs about how its not a portable game... yeah go play peace walker some of the missions took 20+ minutes even bordering an hour if you tried to solo them >.> I think everyone thats a fan should buy it just not at 40 dollars, wait for it to drop to 25 or 20 or lower I mean theres no rush to play it again seeing as how it is an old game but definitely everyone should play it for the crouch walk and simplistic gui plus 3D is nice. Also about the bridge part being too gimmicky, uhm you can just keep going and just keep getting up when you get knocked over or just shimmy along the bridge and you don't have to do none of the tilt crap.

It plays out a lot like Peace Walker with the buttons mapped out to A,B,X,Y. I really don't mind the controls of the game at all. It's not as flawless as the HD collection, but the 3D effect is well done and I think the bottom screen interface really changes the stucture of the game. It acts as a shortcut instead of hitting the Start button, which I personally like a lot.
The one let down (besides frame rate, pretty crappy imo) is the 2D first person view. It would be pretty cool to see it in 3D and you have to wonder why it wasn't possible for Konami to add that feature. Let alone, they did add some cool features to make up for it. Lets not forget the photo camo feature that allows you to have any type of camo taken with a picture.
I am considering the game since I own the HD collection and it was baddass. MGS Snake Eater is also fantastic game to the series which is also arguablly one of the greatest games of all time...
