I can't seem to get snes9x to work with quickplay. I can open the emulator outside of quickplay, but only if it's set to open as administrator which I think may be the problem. I'm on windows 10 btw. I was able to use this before I reinstalled the os, but now I can't get it working. when I open it in quickplay, I seem to get kicked out of it as the emulator doesn't load at all. any ideas?

I solved the problem by running quickplay itself as administrator. I turned off uac - is that wise to do?

Doesn't really matter. It's not particularly useful against anything malicious. If you're the only user on the PC, you don't really need it.
