SNES9x for the PS3

I got my teensy++ thursday and decided to port snes9x over as a little exercise to play with the cell sdk. It's pretty rough but it seems to work OK. It will load (uncompressed) ROMs off of /dev_usb000.

If anyone is interested, the code is at http://github.com/eiz/ps3_snes9x. Binary is attached.

Excellent! Boy, am I excited for the future of PS3 homebrew.

I presume this emulator, being in its early stages, has more than a few kinks to work out?

Ok I just gave it a go, for a first build this thing works awesome. There may be a few sound bugs and graphic glitches but I was playing Doom, Starfox and Donkey Kong Country quite happily.

how do you actually get this onto your ps3 though?

compile it with the leaked SDK into a .pkg file
place it on a flash drive and launch it with any jailbreak device

That sounds cool jajaja great idea but I could imagine that the emulation its not going to be really but it could become real good if many people put work into it.
