I've noticed something with snes9x. I was really hyped to download it because I had the computer version and I thought an android version would mean, hey, this has to be the best emulator because it's a veteran of an emulator.

Everything is flawless, but after going back to action intense games, I've noticed something. The bluetooth input is garbage with it.
Example: Swinging your sword in Zelda has a delay, and if you try to rapid-fire, it sometimes doesn't even register the button press and skips it entirely.

So I decided to try out another emulator John SNES. Luckily the save files transfer over fine.
I do miss being able to map load and save states to the right joystick though.
Not as much features as the SNES9x, but jesus, the input is great.

Does anyone else have this problem with SNES9x? Anyone else vouch on switching to John SNES?

I've always used SuperGNES and found it worked brilliantly, even on my ancient Xperia Play. It was rebranded at some point though and it looks like it's been updated a fair bit, so I can't really talk about its current state. It goes by SuperRetro16 now if you want to take a look ^^
