That's not true.
There is plenty of emulators still active and getting updated.
FCE Ultra GX, Snes9x GX, Visual Boy Advance GX, Genesis Plus GX, Yabusa Wii
Again, we are talking about emulators for DS, NOT for the Wii.
your in the wrong section than
Nope, nope, looks like the right section to me, emulation and HB discussion on the emulation and homebrew implementation of a streamable emulator from Wii->DS... Talking about the state of emulators on the DS is just a by product, doesn't mean we need to split the topic and move it though.
The ONLY thing the DS needs to do in this instance is stream audio/video, and controller/touchscreen input. The Wii would handle all emulation required (Which it EASILY can do.)
The issue is with the DS, after getting it to communicate with the Wii (Which is possible.) having it relay so much data through wi-fi, with the limited RAM and Megapainz (Feasible, but... I dunno, you'd need really intimate knowledge for all components.)
If some one has a DS handy, and the means readily available, they could see if streaming video is possible with a web browser and any number of websites (None I can think of off the top of my head, google fu.)
If I get in a frisky mood, I might just grab my own DS and see whats up, but I'm afraid real life is catching up with me and I don't have the time to spend on my hobbies as much as I used to.
|:EDIT:| I must reiterate, this is a complete flight of fancy, and would not be practical in the slightest.
|:EDIT2:| Oh I forgot this:
