sounds complicated also my analog stick is broken so its always pushing up or down and i was wondering if that could cause the black screen?

No - there is obviously something wrong with your firmware.

You can try a last resort and restore the original flash0 files (you backed it up I hope) and start again from there.

If that fails you may be left with no other option but to get it reflashed

no i diidnt back it up do you mean the nand dump cause i have that. but how do you reflash it? or can you give me your flash 0 files or will that not work.

I have a slim PSP so it wouldn't be a good idea to transfer my flash0 - although I've never tried it - it could brick yours.

You will need to use pandora battery or cemetry stick to get your psp back to working order.
But exhaust everything else first before you consider that.

I do have a pandora battery with the magic memory stick. I have tried putting it to 3.71 m33 and 3.93 m33 and went to the original firmware and back to 3.71 but it doesnt seeem to work. I'm thinking about restoring the original nand dump but I dont know if that it would help.
