When I try playing Secret of Mana, Dragon Quest I+II and Dragon Quest III all the text is garbled. I'm using the latest versions of both SnemulDS and R4 Wood. How do I fix this?

Should I use an older version of SnemulDS? If so, which one?

EDIT: Also, on a semi-related note: I heard someone started working on SnemulDS again, is this true?

How far did you get in secret of mana? The intro/naming sequence uses a higher resolution than normal, the in-game text should be fine, I don't know if the DQ games use the hi-res. Then again it may just be that you need to adjust the screen scaling options.

Also, somebody picked up work on the DSTWO's SNES emulator, not the one for normal flash carts.

To be honest when I started it up and saw the gibberish I went "fuck this" and removed the ROM from my SD card. I figured I had a bad ROM or it wasn't compatible with SnemulDS or something.
