I asked crediar about the menu, he said it is disabled cause it currently only works for 4.2EUR(v482) due hardcoded offsets.

strange i couldn't get it working and i use 4.2e, oh well ill have another go with a fresh compile

Other ways?
Does any of the backuplaunchers work?
cIOS doesn't work well with sneek so backup launchers don't work properly if it's virtual nand you might a s well install cIOSCORP

NeoGamma and CFG can launch disc backups in SNEEK with cIOS rev18. Disc launching with NeoGamma also works with cIOS rev19 but CFG seems to hang on rev 19.

Backup disc launching does not work for me with NeogammaRC5 and cIOSX rev19[IOS57], I get DVD Read Error 1167.
And Cfg really hangs, even the wiimote loses synch...
@Levente, try running an official game disc with neogamma to see if that works, i've got that same problem i cannot run backups (anymore). The strange thing is that it did worked a few times

The same thing happened again when running UNEEK. The first time i tried neogamma it played the official disc fine but after restarting the Wii and starting neogamma again from UNEEK it hangs and gives me a blackscreen. It looks like something in the emulated nand changes after the first run. I swapped SD cards but that didn't make any difference.

Cosmetic question: when running SNEEK with SD Support the SD indicator in the system menu stays greyed out but when running UNEEK with SD Support the SD indicator in the system is alive. (both ways i can access my apps on the SD card)?

There's a check so that if your using SNEEK with SD access turned on it doesn't work in the SM. You could probably turn that off but I wouldn't advise it.

try to wait for the system menu to show the main channel screen and then press start on the first GC pad

Is it possible to have USB access in UNEEK? Nand is on the same USB HDD as my Wii games and I would like to use both at the same time. Atm Config USBloader is freezing when I start it.

Even if you enabled USB access for homebrew, you wouldn't be able to use any cIOS based USB loader to run your games. They're incompatible at the moment.

Your best bet would be to set up an SD NAND with the di module.

could be a bad nand had that a few times previously working nand corrupting
Nope, reverting to an older version still works... I can't remember what version it is but it was before the DI module, I used xflak's batch file.

Until the game changing feature is available for everyone, I have made and used (for my own need) a simple application (sneek2sneekplus) for alternating back and forth between SNEEK with and without DI. And with this approach/application, I could choose which available games in USB drive that I want to play automatically.

Enjoy.

i installed the game on a 16GB MicroSDHC Card inside a micromate USB 2.0 stick and it showed up in the disc channel on SNEEK.
This thread helped me a lot, thanx to all

So I want to get the latest SNEEK/UNEEK up and running. I now have to download python and devkitpro??! that sucks and i guess I'm out of luck because I am too lazy to download that stuffs.

Whats wrong with posting a compiled version? Is it because you need code from IOS60 and 70?

I got the .app files, is there anyway I can do this without the programming stuff?

Yes, it's because the compiled binaries have ninty code in them.

So you may as well get un-lazy and set up the environment to compile it. You might learn a thing or two while you're at it. I know I did.

well just like i thought I got python and devkitpro and of COURSE it does not compile properly. Thats why i didn't want to do it. always just troubles and issues.

i got python 2.6.1, i got the full source from using an svn. i got the .app files. just gives me crazy win32 errors "couldnt reserve space for cygwins heap. error 0. boo this program, booooo.

nah i love sneek just hate setting it up.

You might have to manually set the necessary environment variables. I had to do that, anyway. I'm on my iPod right now but if no one else does, I can find the posts where all that was explained to me and show you how to set that all up once I'm on a computer

now i uninstalled devkitpro, reinstalled using devkitarm r24 from sneek googlecode page. sneed.cmd states its not installed anymore. but it is, it is right there on c:\devkitpro...everything is there,

i'm done, someone should make a simple installer like it used to be when i first got sneek running.
