I thought you could only get file system corruption if you had the nand on sd and sd access enabledxflak40 said:does the usb version have the risk of corrupting the files on the usb? (similar to how one of the SD versions could corrupt the files on the SD)

Thanks, I hope your right, because in a worst case scenario situation, a 0.5GB nand dump is easy to replace, but everything else on my drive... not so muchlongtom1 said:would think it's just the files contained in the nand dump file system which get corrupted not the whole drive but don't quote me on that cause I could be wrong
could try with a flash drive or smaller drive first to check and testxflak40 said:Thanks, I hope your right, because in a worst case scenario situation, a 0.5GB nand dump is easy to replace, but everything else on my drive... not so muchlongtom1 said:would think it's just the files contained in the nand dump file system which get corrupted not the whole drive but don't quote me on that cause I could be wrong![]()
You are guessing too much. Initialization takes pretty much nothing for a USB Stick; not drive. Also look at this files header.Blue-K said:Can anybody test the USB-Version of SNEEK (or better UNEEK)? I'm asuming that it's even slower than with the SD, because initialising the Drive takes some time, and I guess that it uses USB v1.1...though I hope I'm wrong...
If SNEEK wouldn't be that slow (and cIOS would work)...I would use it...![]()
