I'm going to have a look at 150 today and tomorrow and I'll post my results. Can't make no promises but we'll see if I have trouble with it as others are.

Sorry I haven't been here as much to answer questions but I've been rapped up in the PS3 scene for a while.

Any findings?

I wonder how hard it would be to implement WBFS file/iso file support/proper ES support into the DI part of UNEEK/SNEEk. It's pretty lame that we still have to extract our games. If SNEEK had that capability I'd easily switch from Uniiloader since it's dead and isn't GPL friendly.

should be possible to do but it'd be slower than using a disc filesystem dump.

edit: actually maybe with a .iso you could just redirect the reads to the offset within the .iso file...

i used scooby sneek compiler it works (r151)

Tried. No go. Works, but RB3 black screens after the EA logo.
this happened to me once on rockband 1, I deleted diconfig.bin and then everything was working fine again. Perhaps the same could work for you. Although, usb instruments still don't work

Is there a technical reason why SNEEK+DI can't play games from SD instead of USB? (SD:\games)

Thanks

Yes the reason is technical. You can modify the source to enable reading games from SD. See sorgs nandemu.

Point me in the right direction? I couldn't find any information about modifying the source code for reading the games off SD.

That was the first thing I tried.

You'll have to add it yourself or request it. It isn't a future in Sneek (yet).

hey figured out why rb3 freezes at ea logo

if you take out the usb dongle for the instruments the game will load just fine same with ac/dc

if nano351 or someone else that knows crediar if you would pass on that i will send him the money paypal to get a mic or guitar and to please work on a patch

good news i have a wii fit board and i play it on Uneek_di no problems to report

it recognizes the wiifit board and assigns it to player 4

well i hope that crediar says yes talk at everyone later

But... I don't have any usb dongles or instruments. The only thing I have is a guitar that you put a wiimote in.

I got UNEEK+DI to work for about a second, but now it won't. I got to the menu and checked out the settings. I tried to run the game but the menu just disappeared and the game did not appear in the disc channel, and the wiimote stopped working. I turned the wii off then back on, now I can't even get to the sneek menu because the wiimote stops responding as soon as I get to the system menu. Same with GCN controller. Any ideas?

Delete diconfig.bin and boot again. A bad game dump could be the issue.

I'm looking for 2 more 'testers' to test a backup loader for UNEEK+DI

Requirements:

If you have/are...

- Interested in a backup loader for UNEEK.
- UNEEK+DI up and running and a couple games installed.
- A SD-card.
- An account here on GBAtemp.

...you can contact me

Edit:

Oke.. Testers picked

Found the problem, it was HBC. I started from scracth with a new NAND and SNEEK install, followed the directions to install HBC to the letter, and ran UNEEK+DI, same problem. Deleted HBC with Showmiiwads, ran it again, and the wiimote worked. Just successfully booted GH5. So, any idea why HBC kills my wiimote?

I'm assuming your running 1.0.7 HBC?

Have you tried 1.0.5 or 1.0.6?

How are you launching HBC? From the system menu?
