Thanks again.

My wii drive light blinks continuously, no pattern at all just a constant blinking and a black screen, so I gave up

hey, thanks for the tutorial, it helped me so much, now i have a uneek+di compilation working on a 1T fat32 HDD with cluster size of 16KB and i can play Splinter Cell again since my Wii's DVD Reader died almost two years ago

i have some questions:

1. i tried to play guitar hero: warriors of rock and it freezes after the intro videos ... why? how can i pass the black screen? any theorys are welcomed!

2. in the tutorial its explained how to install homebrew channel v1.0.7 into the uneek+di nand, i manage to install the old v1.0.6 since the v1.0.8 freezes in the scam screen (i tried to install it as the v1.0.7), i tried to upgrade the HBC and it told me that there where no vulnerable ios, i dont really mind in using the old version but i will like much more to use the new ones, how can i do this if i dont have a v1.0.7 copy?

thanks in advance!

Another roadblock. Got homebrew channel working, however it doesn't see any apps on my usb flashdrive, even though that same flashdrive works perfectly with homebrew channel on my real nand? Is it some IOS issue?

I am on sneek+di. The interesting part is that none of the emulators recognize usb either. Also VC Majora's Mask doesn't work

I checked, IOS 33 is installed.

That has something to do with the armboot.bin not been there i think. It's a bootmii error not a sneek one

I'm sure others have had this problem, but sorry to say I'm not going to read through 130 pages to find it.
I've tried several times to compile Sneek/Uneek (w/ and w/o DI) and I always get just a black screen. My dvd drive never flashes at all. I've compiled rev125 of Uneek+DI using ModMii 4.4.4 and am using a dump of my real Nand. File structure is as follows:
SD:
bootmii/armboot.bin
sneek/kernel.bin

USB:
sneek/di.bin
sneek/font.bin
sneek/kernel.bin
import
meta
shared1
shared2
sys
ticket
title
tmp (have also tried renaming this folder to temp)
wfs
games/RSPE01 (picked Wii Sports just to test the compile)

A further note is my HD is formatted as FAT32 with 32 cluster size and is Active and Primary (even though it only has one partition).
EDIT: I have also tried another HD (same formatting) and a Flash Drive, both with the same results.

Do you have priiloader on your NAND?

Yes. Also, it was on my NAND when I made a dump...should it be removed from the emulated Nand?
EDIT: I compiled a new emulated 4.2U Nand using ModMii and still get nothing but a black screen.
I checked under 'title/00000001/00000002/content/' and it gave me a 00000088.app and a 00000088_original.app
I tried running it as is and also tried removing 00000088.app and renaming the other, both continue to produce a black screen. Should I be running an emulated Nand for a different firmware? So far as I can tell I have done everything correctly at some point or another. I'm running out of options.

Do you have a game on the HD in the proper format and in the proper folder ?? If you don't SNEEK+DI will not boot.

I used DiscEX and extracted the game made a folder called games in root of hdd inside i copied the folder SMNE01 which is new super mario and inside has the extracted game

I read something about tmd.bin what was that for?

UNEEK+DI works .. :

1) only with 4.2/4.3 NAND or earlier too ? ModMii mentions 4.2/4.3 I think
2) only FAT32 HDD or NTFS too ?

thanks

I got a hdd partitioned as fat32 primary and active with 4.2 virgin nand on it

Would my second partition which is wbfs effect anything?
