@ ChokeD..

2. Download System Menu 4.2X (what ever version Wii you have) with NUSD, decrypt it and pack a .wad

Only needs to be..

2. Download System Menu 4.2X (what ever version Wii you have) with NUSD and pack a .wad

No need to decrypt it as your method only uses the .wad and not the decrypted files.

works for me using old .app files (4.2e + 4.3e) tried the official installer and get nothing not even a drive flash on cold boot and flashing drive light when launch bootmii from the HBC

Indeed...downloading the SNEEK-Files with B4, but downloading/installing with B3 seems to do the trick for me. Thanks for the tip

Btw: Anyone has an idea how the new Controlls work? I can't get the DI-Menu to work with the GC-Controller (including the "Cheater!!!"-Menu and Screenshots, but I'm not shure if they even should work). According to the Source Code, Start should open it, but nothing happens...

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't write the little how to up there, but I understand what your saying. If anyone doesn't confirm the NUSAD way I'm going to test and report fairly soon on how to build a NAND using it.

I may be listing some add-ons to the 4.3U spoiler about using the old .app files from ios70 instead of 80 to use with the auto-installer also, although I don't know why everybody is fired up and so eager to use 4.3 as a NAND with SNEEK instead of staying with old reliable 4.2. I mean no offense but 4.3 was a garbage update, who cares ? but, to each their own.

I'm fired up to use r106 (talking about the Screenshot/Cheater-Menu), not 4.3
wink.gif
. And r106 seems to work only when using the old files, the dump doesn't matter. Now, if I only could get these features to work...

had it working for a while now but can't get the new features to work tried pressing every button on the GC pad and nothing do you need to edit the source to enable them or are they enabled by default

Yeah, I also pressed every button on the GC-pad on every Port, nothing happend

. I dunno, looking at the source, they don't seem to be commented or something like that. But maybe they aren't even finished yet? Would explain why Crediar didn't mentioned them in the Changelog...I dunno. But these features would be SICK if they work.

I finally got everything working now. I am running SNEEK+DI with 4.3U SM with working game and WiiWare game. There was a post in this thread about pressing 1 on the WiiMote to bring up the game menu. I think the GC pad is gone from r106. I haven't tried connecting the nunchuck or classic controller to see if that brings up any new menu.
Here are the steps that I used to get this working:
1. Created the virgin 4.2 nand from the 1st post.
2. Downloaded the b4 installer with the new ELF from the google page.
3. Used NUSD to get 00000001.app from IOS 60 and 0000000e.app from IOS 80.
4. With steps 2 and 3, follow installer instruction from the first post to create SNEEK+DI.
5. Booted into SNEEK and ran the system update twice.
(It failed the 1st time, but change the SM to 4.3. I think it updated to a virgin 4.3 and the 2nd time put all the necessary files to complete the SM files.)
Hopefully I didn't leave anything out.

If anyone else can confirm this I'll add it to the OP. Thanks asian flavor.

I'm already on 4.3U emulated NAND, and the 0000000e.app from IOS80 does not work for me with r106. Using the IOS70 one and compiling it myself did work.

I'm not sure why a virgin NAND that was 4.2 first and then upgraded to 4.3 would make a difference, honestly, but I have all my game saves on this NAND, so not going to try that anyway.

GC pad still works on R106 to bring up the game and settings menu for me
How? Port 1, and then press Start? I swear, this doesn't work for me, and I'm using an official controller from Ninty...

Have you tried acessing the (Cheat)Menu during running a game? Should also work with Start. Also, according to the source, pressing "Z" should create a Screenshot.

just plugged pad in port 1 and press start works for game menu but not for cheat menu

Nevermind, I'm sorry, it worked now. I must have done something wrong before. I get the same results as you, no Cheater-Menu, no Screenshots, sadly

Btw, does anyone know what "LTN" and "ASN" under Game Region stands for?

Sorry to came back to the thread a little bit late. I am not at my house to look at my Wii. I am with Blue-K with the GC Pad. It does not work with me on the SM. Haven't tried the cheatmenu. Don't have to much time this weekend with a sick daughter. Are you on 4.2U, longtom1? I know I had my GC pad working since I did not know about pressing the '1' button on the WiiMote.

@jhoff80
Did you use the new installer, b4? When I ran it with 0000000e.app from IOS 70, it said it was the wrong file size. That is when I download the e.app from IOS 80.

I'm on 4.2E and 4.3E have 2 nands(on separate cards) and both work used IOS70 0000000e.app, IOS60 00000001.app and compiled it myself don't like using the installer b3 or b4.

Have tried with both .app files from IOS80 and nothing just black screen from cold boot and flashing drive light from HBC I'm going to try 0000000e.app from IOS80 and 00000001.app from IOS60 and then 0000000e.app from IOS70 and 00000001.app from IOS80 and see if it makes a difference

Update works with IOS70 0000000e.app and IOS80 00000001.app but not the other combination of app files same result black screen or flashing drive but still no cheat menu appears

Yes, I used the new installer yesterday, when I first posted about it here, and it didn't work with the files it downloaded on its own (aka IOS80's 0000000e.app), but only gave a black screen.

Again, that's with a 4.3U emulated NAND, on a console running 4.2U by default (with BootMii installed as boot2). It works perfectly if I compile with the 0000000e.app from IOS70.

Also, does anyone know if there's a list of games that don't work with SNEEK-DI? I know I've read about issues with Super Paper Mario, and I've had issues with Sin & Punishment 2, is there any kind of compatibility list somewhere for the few that don't work?

How to get a virgin NAND using NUSAD and showmiiwads:
1. Download "NUSAD" and NUSAD_Download_Cues_for_Sneek.
2. Place your region cue in the NUSAD program folder.
3. Open NUSAD and type "I Agree" and hit enter.
4. Type "L" and hit enter.
5. Type "Y" hit enter.
6. All the IOS .wads you need will be found in the /COPY_TO_SD/WAD folder.
7. Open ShowMiiWads
8. Create a blank folder on desktop (I named mine "Scratch 4.2U NAND")
9. Click on Options -> Change NAND backup path. Select the folder you just created.
10. Click View -> ShowMiiNAND (the program is now called "ShowMiiNand")
11. Drag all .wad files from COPY_TO_SD/WAD to ShowMiiNand.
12. At the bottom click install
13. copy your setting.txt from an actual dump to the title/00000001/00000002/data folder that was created in your "Scratch 4.2U NAND"
14. copy the four folders: title, ticket, sys, shared1 to the root of whatever device you are going to be using to host your NAND.
15. Launch SNEEK/UNEEK and it will be as if it is the first time you started your wii (in reality it is, and you may have to wait a couple minutes the first time you boot it up this time only)
(Thanks xFlak)
