Actually, maybe it would be better if you use GParted or guiformat. AFAIK, both of them let you choose a cluster size manually. And, well, WBFS is old, lol.

Haha yeah I always use Gparted. I just used the built in formatter and easus on windows for this actually. The next thing I'll try is deleting WBFS and then making the partition the whole disk. It's just that I love WBFS, especially for my real NAND.

Yep, removed WBFS and extended partition to whole disk. Looks like.... Problems with.. (fun) something else? yay. haha

Didnt notice this before as i have only just tried in the last few hours but im modding MWR and when i try to go online using SNEEK to test the changes i get the 2109 error, well with any game thats booted thru SNEEK, yet when going online normally(not using SNEEK) all is well but that means i have to recompile the ISO every time i make a change which takes the p*ss lol

Do anyone else have this problem with online games

I've had it where my friend code was 0000 0000 0000 0000, but that's an easy fix. I just had to recreate the nand backup and I was alright. Maybe those are related.

yeah its most likely the DWC_AUTHDATA but havent got round to checking if its been corrupted, i just boot SNEEK, booted MWR tried to go online and it was a no go but i'll have more time today to check it out properly

Okay I got it compiled with the r80 ehci.c, I'd love to say it worked (again) haha. Oh well. Now it actually doesn't boot at all, I compiled it twice.

Oh well in that case I should clarify,

You can't use the auto installer with puneek cause you have to change files in the compile of sneek during the process. puneek will NEVER work with the auto installer, NEVER.

To update SNEEK and use puneek you would have to compile the source the hard way NOT WITH AN AUTO UPDATER and before that you would have to make the proper changes to the source of sneek for punnek to work.

i am aware that puneek can't be updated via the auto-installer. you never had to say that in the first place. and repeating it again certainly isn't getting us anywhere.

because that's NOT what i'm trying to do. i'm wanting to use the latest vanilla sneek+di, using the auto-installer. note that i'm not saying "and then get puneek working," because i'm not. i just want plain sneek+di using the latest revisions available from the auto-installer, and puneek is nowhere in sight. but it's not working.

i said update, because puneek is based on r72, which is old. i only even mention puneek because i had it working previously. like, if i could get puneek working, why can't i get regular sneek+di working now?

Q1: I installed SNEEK+DI on my two TF-1G cards(one Kingston, one SanDisk) and I got two results.
If boot SNEEK by Bootmii boot2, it will be successful.
If boot SNEEK by Bootmii IOS, it won't be successful. Just get a blackscreen on TV and Wii Drive's blue light flashing.

Q2: Can't the SNEEK menu open up in Wii System of JPN version? Why?

Q3: If I plugged two USB-HDD at the same time on Wii, SNEEK+DI won't be launched and blackscreen.

oh, sorry about that, it just seemed the way you were wording that, that you wanted to like add puneek in to a version of sneek that was made with the auto installer.

My bad.

I'm sure the auto installer works for some, but to be quite honest I never used it and some people don't have much luck with it. I always compiled my own. NOT knocking it, just saying there have been people that just cant get it to work for them. Have you tried to compile sneek ???

Hey guys,

It has been now for two weeks I'm trying to get sneek+DI working on my 3.3e (real nand). I've already succeded to run a sneek (no DI) with a 4.2e (emu nand). Although, every time I try DI I either get a black screen (nothing else) or a blinking dvd drive light. I tried many steps always using the installer. I compiled the source code too but I don't know exactly what use from there, if only i could see messages of what is going on, I found some clue on usbgeck but this project is now discontinued. Have you tried to debug sneek with something else like a log file or the network gecko stuff? If you did that would be much of a help. My motivation is to play rock packs, MTri and other ios reload stuff flawlessly.

Thanks in advance

What's wrong with 4.2? Use a 4.2-Nand, if you know that this works.

But will this do the trick or it is just a suggestion out of scope?
Well, I never tried any other menu than 4.2, but if SNEEK worked, then with 4.2. Not to mention that SNEEK+DI only works for 4.2, so Crediar sees 4.2 as the best menu too (or he's too lazy to search for the values
tongue.gif
). And gosh, why wouldn't you want 4.2? It's always nice to be up-to-date (if you scratch 4.3).

Uhm. I don't know, I really would like to make this sneek+DI to work but since a bricked a wii once I really do not feel like doing it. If the reason to upgrade is to get last ios versions, don't need to upgrade, it is possible to upgrade ios separetely with MMM. If it is the sd support that is added this can be useful specially if cred uses something hidden inside that, but anyway, i feel like a shot in the dark and I do not have many spare bullets left, i'm tired of trying and trying without results. What I'm looking for is a real way of debugging what DI is doing to understand what to do precisely.

Anyway, thank you for your help,

ps.: finally maybe i will try this, just need to get home and see

FYI - Conanac and overjoy have ported the offsets so that SNEEK+DI can now be used on 4.3U and 4.3E. You need to modify SMenu.c by adding this code after line 156. Here are the details (these are direct quotes from conanac and overjoy):

4.3U
Code:
case 513:
{ÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂ//Disc Region free hackÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂ*(u32*)0x0137DD80 = 0x4800001C;
ÂÂÂÂ*(u32*)0x0137E5D4 = 0x60000000;

ÂÂÂÂFBSize = 304*480*4;

ÂÂÂÂreturn 1;
} break;

4.3E
CODEcase 514:
{ÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂ//Disc Region free hackÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂÂ*(u32*)0x0137DE28 = 0x4800001C;
ÂÂÂÂ*(u32*)0x0137E67C = 0x60000000;

ÂÂÂÂFBSize = 320*480*4;

ÂÂÂÂreturn 1;
} break;

I agree with Blue-K that there is no reason to be on SM 4.3 to use SNEEK+DI, but in case anyone wants to try it here is the info. I myself have not tested this yet but one of these days I will get around to it.

@ChokeD - it might be worth adding this to the 1st post in case anyone wants to run SNEEK+DI on 4.3U or E.

Cheers
