CSI - Deadly Intent does not with with sneek-di well atlease for me it does it just black screens . i use yso to convert the games. every game i tested worked other than CSI - Deadly Intent.
Did you try to compile r79 and use its Di.bin.
I have 2 SD cards setup 1 has r79 so i can load MPT ,Sam+Max,COD3,Far cry the 2nd Sd card i use to try new updates (i keep r85 on it but change the name while i try new revs)

is there a revisions changelog?

on my SD i have the files installed using the automated installer,
do you suggesto to compile a newer version?

everyone is saying r79 works fine, wich are the improvements in r80 -> r85?

i need absolutely to fix the powercycle issue, maybe i'll try r82 and r79, but i'm having the compiler running on a VM and it crashes every time it tries to build the binaries, dunno why :/

the only revision i can find is rev80 any help with a link.im useing the auto installer but i know i can change out the armboot etc with higher or lower revision but i just cant find and other than 80

the latest rev of SNEEK is 80, all revs after are only changes to the WIKI page

check the changes link i posted above and you will see

well I think a break is always good working on something for too long is never good.
I just hope that SMG2 will work on SNEEK :PPPAgreed, always nice to take a step back and look at things through a fresh pair of eyes.

You will have to compile your own sneek following the guide in the first post in order to get an old revision of sneek. instead of:

svn checkout http://sneek.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ sneek

place a -79 at the end to get rev79 version of sneek:

svn checkout http://sneek.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ sneek -79

Ok Choke, first off props for making this HUGE guide. Second props to Credair for the making of this incredible breakthrough in wii hacking. It must have been a fun journey for him.

Anyway so I am having issues all over the place.

Heres what I can do:

Emulate a nand(4.2U) runs fine no glitches that I know of.

Thats running just Sneek.

Now for what I cant do.

I can't run Sneek DI at ALL

I cant seem to get Uneek working either.

Finally a finished product put on mediafire or a similiar site, would be a godsend. If it is illegal I apologize I don't want to condone piracy, I really just like the thrill of doing stuff with a system you aren't suppose to be able to do. An thats why sneek was fasinating to me. Crediar actually got the wii to think a damn hardrive is a disc, thats great coding an hacking work. Its that kind of stuff I appreciate.

I really just want Sneek DI to work, so i can see it in action. being able to play my wii games on the disc channel without having to worry about this ios, an this cios an mios an all this other unwarranted crap. is just a bonus smile.gif

Soooooo can anyone help with this?

oh an a quick question:

For sneek DI

is Boot2.bin , supposed to be renamed boot2_di.bin? because I wasn't sure if thats what you meant in the guide. thanks a bunch

was there a usb loader for sneek yet?
not fat32 from disk duah i know there that 1 but im talking about A CHANNEL like gx loader

afaik GX(s) is a fork of sneek that aims to create a full-USB working wii, with both NAND and backups stored on the USB device.

actually with sneek, you can load games from USB storage only if the nand emulation is stored on the SD card.

so you cant use UNEEK and load games from USB, GXS aims to break this barrier.

The setup giantpune made which is being referred to also could be used as a USB-loader interface for the SNEEK+DI setup (well, really more like UNEEK+DI setup) that he had modified.

I never got the loader to work myself, but there's videos showing it's possible.

yeah i seen it on here and search is coming up empty

All this is useful for is a good read if you ask me. No one is going to support it even if you figured out how to put all the pieces together or figured out how to decipher what pune has hinted around at or what pune has just simply left up to you to figure out on your own. SNEEK basically does the same thing it does already. I wasted to much time on this, just to fail miserably. My fault ??, maybe, maybe not, who knows.

just my 2 cents

JUST ADDED TO THE FIRST POST

This is how I installed my HBC To SNEEK NAND:

have HBC(JODI) installed on real nand 3.2 or 4.2 whatever
dump real nand using bootmii
open showmewads extract the HBC(JODI).wad from bootmii nand
install it to the VIRGIN sneek nand using showmewads
then using the extract bootmii nand dump option in showmewads
extract the bootmii nand dump into a new folder
open bootmii nand folders
find the .tic (ticket) for HBC (can be identified and address found in showmewads)
copy that .tic file to your virgin sneek folders (same /folder it was found in the bootmii dump)

You can also extract the HBC channel from your real NAND using Waninkoko's WadCreater v1.0 to extract the HBC wad and then install it with Showmiiwads. It worked for me at least and homebrew apps seem to work with it, well launch at least.

It may not be installed properly with my method though?

This looks like a promising TOOL.

I've been trying to get backups to run from the disc channel. Supposedly cIOSWin will do it.

Just name the di module you want to use to run backups di.bin and put it on the root of your sd card
