Apple SMS App Broken

I installed BiteSMS and then I decided it sucks ass so I deleted it but it broke my default SMS app so I had to reinstall biteSMS.

The default SMS app is now named "MobileSMS" and when I try to open it, it closes after half a second of showing the empty gui
I can only think of SSHing into the filesystem and replacing the SMS stuff but I'm probably completely wrong

I'm on iOS 3.1.3 on an iPhone 3G

Try restoring/upgrading to 4.1 and maybe it will remove all the jailbroken apps.

Restoring to 4.1 without backups should do it for you. It will remove all JB apps (and all your other settings) so there's not chance of your iPhone having any JB files backed up to mess with it(which is quite possible since its messing with the SMS app)

unless he SHSHed it (whatever its called) then he could, but think about his photos and others... in my opinion its ugly syncing photos on a windows comp.
