Gaming Smash Bros Japanese Font Question

What type of Japanese font is used in the game?
Not the style but what type of Japanese, if that makes sense

yeah but i mean what type of japanese is it? Isn't there like 3 ways to write like Katakana, Kanji, Hiragana i just want to know which of these was used to write the characters names

Like most Japanese script it will be a mix of all three;

Katakana for "adopted" words, ie western words. Things like Mario, Sonic, etc..
Hiragana for a lot of Japanese words, and some kanji for other Japanese words.

I just bought a Japanese Wii with Smash Bros and from memory it has a lot of katakana (which is also relatively easy to learn, like hiragana).

Oh ok, is there a font to type like the text exactly as a font? If not you think you could make me a image with everybody's name on it from the first smash bros to the lastest one cause i need it for a project i'm doing

Ummm... It's not basicly just a font, it's another way of typing additional characters / letters....
