Off Topic: The Sunshine extracted from the Switch does not have videos that work in Dolpin but just replace the video files inside GCM for it to work in dolphin, copy from another sunshine.

I haven't seen a single screenshot or video of anyone injecting a gamecube game, has anyone managed to do it?
Has somebody make some progress to replace a n64 rom and get it to run?
I don't think as many are working on the n64 emu, because we can already play n64 games through retroarch on the switch and the n64 emu bundled with mario 64 seems buggy compared to mupen next

I would thought that nintendo would make a better emulator for n64. They have to know their console.
Can retro arch with mupen play so smooth like nintendos luma emulator?

with luma you mean on the 3ds? n64 emulation is really wonky on the 3ds so yes, it is much better on the switch

Sorry i ment Lua, i think Thats Nintendos Name for their n64 Emulator for Switch
LUA is a programming language, not an emulator.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lua

Think of it as a script system that runs with the emulator to accomplish patches or so.
Other emulators like FCEUX also have LUA support iirc.

N64 emulation on switch retroarch is near perfect afaik, and also nintendo's official n64 emulator sucks, the colors look dark and there are no save states

We can try to Run Action_Replay via layer fs

PLZ Credit me for the Idea xD

An update was just released, 1.0.1, it's 121 MB.
We don't know what it does yet, probably a fix for Mario 64.

try the new atmos 0.14.4 , and tell us

I had no idea it was out, thank you.

Edit: It works great on 10.2.0 Atmosphere 0.14.4 E with 14.3 patches. I can return to the title screen from Mario 64 and also exit and reload the game with no hiccups.

It's a shame people aren't really interested in the N64 emu, cause I for one would love to port the widescreen and Luigi co-op mods to 3DAS so the collection would feel a little more consistent. Bonus points if anyone figures out how the upscaled textures are applied and whether or not we can add more. Thinking of how Render96 for instance managed to find some of the original files for the game's textures and port them in.
