I noticed that game installs (where the game has to install several GB of data when run the first time) aren't any faster when running the game from Multiman as compared to a retail disc. Does BDEMU limit the read speed to what a real blu-ray drive is, are the install times hard coded (like the elevator loading screens on the 360 version of mass effect), or is there something wrong?

Some games are hard coded to run at BluRay speed. Some games are not and are designed to be installed to the drive to speed things up. It depends how the devs wanted the game to be played - from BluRay or from the HDD.

No, I am refering to the time it takes to install after you start the game for the first time. For example, Bioshock 2 takes about 10 minutes for the mandatory install even when run from Multiman. I would have thought that it would be faster since the hard drive is faster than the drive but it isn't.
