Hacking Sleep Mode Problems with Custom Robo DS

I'm using an R4 with the 1.8 Beta Firmware, Japanese Kingston 1GB. The game froze on two seperate occassions when I put my DS in sleep mode - first during a conversation with the protagonist's father, and the second during a battle. Power-cycling on the second incident gave me a regular NDS boot-up screen, with the R4 undetected in Slot 1. Is this something R4 or DS related, or is it the battery?

i guess its possible the R4 rattled a bit and lost full connection with the DS...?

that would have to be my guess, it would explain why power cycling led to undetected R4...

It's only happened with Custom Robo DS so far, and none of the other games.

I've yet to run into a problem with Custom Robo Arena and my R4DS

Maybe your micro Sd sucks?

i dont have that sleep mode crash, but i DO have a consistent crash when exiting garage in story mode with 'snipe' robo selected. other illegials seems to work fine
