Hardware Sleep Mode Battery Life?

How long does the 3DS Last when it's Idle? Mostly for things like StreetPass and SpotPass..

Im not sure if this should be posted here but I didn't really want to find the question area to ask this...

Mine was asleep for a lot of the time for 6 hours and the battery was barely dented.
an hour of face raiders and it went red.
That was with the 75% charge out of the box.

I hate the battery life but I guess over 6hrs is good for sleep... I guess I can use it at school for the Pedometer without worrying about the battery

3 days of battery life with SpotPass enabled? Fucking awesome.

3-6 hours of 3D gameplay? I can live with it. At least they give the charging cradle.

Wow thats pretty good but actual play from that point is still disapointing..

In tests, With 3D on, full brightness and wireless, it last 3 hours on full charge. The manual sugests using power saving mode to auto adjust the brightness to increase the battery life. With brightness on 1 the manual states you will get 5 hours approx.

This is dependent on what you are using the console for I guess

Well that was after about an hour AR games and other stuff, and 5 walking around for play coins.

I'd say you'd get around 9 hours or more from a full charge in standby with wireless on for streetpass.
