I have 2 legitimate questions.

1. Will the game come with a wiimote (plus built in)?

2. If it does not, where is the best place to buy one? (cheapest preferably)

1 If you buy the special edition, its like 10 or 20 dollars more. But it gets you a gold wiimote+ which is normally like 40.
2 you can always buy the separate wii motion+ at like game stop. Trade some old games in.

Only the special edition bundle comes with one ($70 vs $50 for the game alone). Normally the wiimote+ costs $40. Sometimes it comes bundled with other games for less (last week bestbuy was selling flingsmash for $25 and that game came with a black wiimote+)

Does anyone else find it odd that this game is this hyped for a leak when there is absolutely no proof that anyone but reviewers have it? It is Zelda, yes, but still. Glad to see this thread may survive the release of the game or leak.

Unlike the original thread, this isn't necessarily a leak hype thread, just a hype thread for the game in general (including, but not limited to, the possibility of potential leaks).
As for the best way to get a Wiimote plus, the Zelda bundle with one for $20 extra is a great deal. If you want one now looking for fling smash new is a good bet, but hard to find. Amazon is having a sale on the white and black Wiimote pluses for $35 right now, and super saver shipping is free, but you would have to wait a week (or more). If you want one right now, the only real option is to get one at your local retailer for $40.

So funny story. It's 3am in Germany. When that leak was supposed to happen. Oh how life could be so Zelda filled right now.

Yeah works pretty well, not as well as when I connect my PC to it with all the proper connections but it does a pretty good job of simulating surround sound =) Even my Dreamcast sounds pretty cool on it =D

This is unconfirmed, and don't take my word for it, but apparently it's on the same german private tracker that's been reported earlier... As in, it's up right now. I have no way to check it, so I can't provide proof. As I said, don't take this as me saying "YES IT LEAKED", I'm just forwarding rumors.

But the fact that it is 3am in Germany when the leak was supposed to happen is relevant. Somebody else (the_Predator, who beat me to posting) posted something about it in the quote game thread, but there was no evidence. I think we should drop discussion of this particular leak until either there is evidence that it is real, or a few hours have passed (lets say 6?) and it is fairly clearly fake.

And now for something completely different, has anybody else here played BS Zelda: AST? It is an often overlooked real (as in not fan made) Zelda game. Since I'm guessing most people here have never played it, it would be a great way to pass the time until SS becomes available (one way or another) if you are looking for a new Zelda game to play. Google search "BS Zelda" to find it.

Since I'm guessing most people here have never played it, it would be a great way to pass the time until SS becomes available (one way or another) if you are looking for a new Zelda game to play. ...

It's actually fan made, isn't ?

Nope, it was made by Nintendo and broadcast on the Satellaview in Japan. Read the Wikipedia page for more info.

Those ROMs are still technically illegal, they even say on the site that if Nintendo ever asks them to take them down then they will. Fair use does not apply even if the work is unavailable by any other means.

Yup ...I saw the video from the fanpage ..and there is more them one zelda game for it

The Satellaview was pretty impressive ...kinda strange that nintendo never re-released the versions of the games made for it.

I think you are overlooking to it. ...This roms are modified versions of a more then dead system, that was made with the objective of only allow people to play games when it was broadcasted (during a live session) ..most part of the games were never seen again causes of that...

Under the effect on work's value stuff of the fair use laws, distribution of these games isn't illegal, but if a moderator asks me to remove the link I will.

On topic: Who is your favorite character form SS (based on the available material)? Mine is definitely Fi, I love her sort of mechanical personality, mixed with the fact that she still appears to be playful (see the trailer where she dances on water).

My thoughts, there has been a chance for a little while now that in the next few hours Zelda would be on the internet. I figure the game will be available when it's available and I will play it then. Refreshing this site, that one Wii ISO forum, or a predb every 10 seconds isn't going to make it come out faster, or increase the chances of it leaking in that time period. That doesn't mean I won't (I want Zelda NOW), but I realize that it is a fruitless effort, and that I will be wasting my time on it for the next ... however long it takes.

Zelda was driving me crazy last night, I was hot so I couldn't sleep and because I couldn't sleep I was thinking about Skyward Sword which was annoying because I couldn't play it =/

Then when I finally could sleep I dreamt about the whale in Skies of Arcadia except in my mind it was Zelda, probably because of that trailer with the flying whale =)

Man, Skies of Arcadia was a great game, I may have to find my GC copy of it and play it till SS comes out. What else is everybody playing to pass the time? I've heard that the binding of Issac is fairly good, and sort of Zelda-ish, plus it's up for grabs from the humble bundle guys right now.
