Gaming Skyward Sword Getting Leaked Soon?

Well, it's preventing piracy very well. I'm not willing to risk my friend's job and reputation for a game coming out in less than 3 weeks. As fancy and tempting as the title "Porkmaster, master of not only pork, but also leaking" is, it's just not a risk I'm willing to take.

We'll know tomorrow. If I can get it tomorrow, you will all have it tomorrow as well.

Edit: To clear up any confusion, it's not like I'm holding out on you guys, I want to play just as much as the next person. Just because I have access to a review copy doesn't mean that I'm playing it. On the contrary, I've been holding myself back from doing so, so that I can get the full experience when I DO get my hands on it.

They may have made minor modifications to every review copy (that is a common practice in the movie industry, I have several friends who do security research related to this), but they wont have done so with every commercial copy. If you want to be super sure, xor two copies of the game, and if the result isn't zero, set those bits randomly (there are still ways for them to detect this, and that is actually exactly what my friends work on, it's really cool coding theory stuff).

Yeah, I'll have absolutely no problem ripping a retail copy of the game if I can get it, just not a review copy, it's too risky.

I did a search accrost multiple torrent sites for this game, but the only thing I did find was someone leaked Skyrim for the Xbox360. I don't own an Xbox360

I've heard nothing positive about Skyrim so far. Every source is bashing this game, saying that the combat is actually a step back from Oblivion, and that it caters more towards console players. This can be seen in not only the interface, but also the magnetism added to your attacks, which basically makes you home in on enemies.

What Pork should do is have his friend swap his review copy with a retail copy But in all seriousness, there is a low chance that they would have (not sure their track record with that sort of thing) but it would be great if you did have a comparison disc too check. Essentially that means it wouldn't matter but yeah...

A good pirate does not get caught and even if they catch him he could say someone stole the review copy from him and uploaded it.

Well I just wanted to add that I have bn' following this thread, and I can say WOW! I'm stoked. I have never posted on forums myself but this one is to good to pass! XD

On another note, I've tried contacting several sources and asking if they knew the disc was DVD5 or DVD9 but no response so far... I will post anything I gather.

Guys, keep up the good work, this is amazing, I'll love to play this before comes out!
