Gaming Skype on DS?

hi. i used the search function and found a topic about this, but when i touch the link something about sega racer pops upp so i started this (since skype on ds most likely will come as an dsi ware or game i posted it here)

I have read that skype may come to ds. is this true?

The Skype developers said it would technically be possible on the DSi.

This lead a bunch of people to think that Skype is somehow confirmed and in development for the DSi.

you can check out SVSip while you wait

it's not skype, but it works pretty well

Not this topic specifically, but there's something about skype DS on the front page every week.

It's not coming out for the DS, if at all maybe for the DSi but theres no plans nintendo has denied
developing a DSiWare for it anytime soon.

If theres ever one for the DS its probably gonna be a homebrew and i doubt anyone would work on it.
