Hi Guys,

Sorry, I have been Googling and searching this forum for about an hour now and continously come up short with regards to this issue (although, others on here have reported it, but I can't seem to find whether or not they found the solution).

When I write certain games to the Flashcard (e.g. Pokemon X), the cart just skips to the next game, without me pressing the blue button. If I try and run the game in the few seconds it appears, it tells me the game card was removed from the system.

This isn't a problem on some games (Zelda - Link Between Worlds, for instance, works fine). All games are EUR region.

Cheers

I think that Sky3ds can only recognize EUR roms the same that your console is , from EUR i guess . Try EUR roms only.

Or maybe the rom is a bad dump :<

Thanks for the reply :)

Sorry guys, I worked it out, although I am a bit confused. Just like with the red button edition, you have to hold the button down for five seconds and then double tap the button.

Is that correct behaviour for the blue button edition? And, is it of concern at all that the blue LED flashes constantly, even in game, after I use that method to get the game working?

When I first loaded mine with games (blue button), it was behaving the same way. Light flashing constantly, games skipping sporadically, multiple button presses required.

I think it was a contacts issue either with the SD card or with the flash card itself. After taking out the memory card and the flash card then putting everything back together, it switches games as expected.

Although I'm playing with it now and realize it's skipping over Kirby and Zelda, which I added last night. Hrmmm...

The whole "push a button and wait to change games" bit is really not fun. I'm thinking about just loading one or two games at a time, or maybe using different SD cards for each game...

Yes, I try too to put It on eeprom (EEPROM=yes) and only SM Land ROM. Too I have downloaded rom again from other source.

In a flashcard card that I don't record more than 10 roms i dont have the problem. The problem appears when I broke the 10 games limit and then seems to the flashcard remember that the limit is broken and then autoskip some roms.

PS:Sorry aboutr my english, i'm spanish

The red button version remembers the first 10 roms, and skips past any others. There is a sticky topic about the different ways to break the limit, but one thing you can try is holding the button down for five second as soon as it appears on the screen. Hopefully, this should stop it from going to the next game, but it will probably blink non-stop until you turn the system off.

If that doesn't work, people have been working on various ways to bypass the limit, and you can find them in the sticky topic.

But I only used one rom, and permanent skips... Why?
It just does that. It registers the first 10, and skips everything else.

I think they fixed it with the blue button version, but it seems like an unfixable hardware issue on the older models.

But I try to put the rom in eeprom too and don't work. It's rare, and the first time that I burned roms, SM Land were the second rom and mario kart the 4th
