Hacking sky3ds save problem

Hey so i was playing mk7 and then i turned of my 3ds and back on and I had lost alll the cups. so can anyone tell me how to save on the sky3ds?

Saving works fine for me in the games I've tried, whether I go back to the home screen or shut the system off.

Out of curiosity, is your rom trimmed?

nope. when i save games that have an option to be saved like alpha sapphire or zelda they save well. but i lose all my data on mk7 or super smash bros
